Team & Permissions

Bring your whole team in with the right access for each person.

Invite unlimited members at no extra cost, then give everyone exactly the access they need. Three clear roles (Administrators, Editors and Assignees) keep the workspace open to collaborate and tidy to manage.

Unlimited team members

Invite everyone. There's no per-seat fee

Your plan covers your whole team, however large it grows. Bring in writers, reviewers, stakeholders and contributors without counting seats or watching a meter, so the people who touch your content can actually be in the workspace.

Three roles, clearly drawn

Everyone gets the access that fits their job

From full control to focused, assigned-only access. Set a role when you invite someone and change it whenever things shift.

Administrator

Full control of the team and the workspace, the trusted owner role.

  • Manage billing and subscription
  • Invite members and set each person's role
  • Set up integrations and restore from the recycle bin
  • Everything an Editor can do, across every project

Editor

The day-to-day content role, free to create and edit across the workspace.

  • Create, edit and delete items, projects and folders
  • Build templates and manage workflows
  • Comment, collaborate and view revision history
  • No access to billing, the team or integrations

Assignee

Focused access. Sees only the items they're directly assigned to.

  • Work on the items assigned to them
  • A clean, distraction-free view of their tasks
  • Can't see other projects, items or settings
  • Perfect for freelancers and outside contributors

Who can do what

The highlights of each role. Access is controlled by role: an Administrator sets each member's role rather than toggling individual permissions.

Team & permission questions

Is there really no limit on team members?
You can invite as many people as you need and there's no per-seat fee. Your plan covers the whole team, so cost never gets in the way of bringing the right people in.
What can an Assignee actually see?
Only the items they're directly assigned to. They don't see other projects, folders or settings. It's a focused, distraction-free view that makes the Assignee role ideal for freelancers and outside contributors.
How is an Editor different from an Administrator?
Editors do all the day-to-day content work: creating and editing items, templates and workflows across the workspace. Administrators add the keys to the team itself: billing, integrations, API tokens, inviting members and setting everyone's roles.
Can I change someone's role later?
Any time. Each role carries its own set of permissions, so an Administrator controls what someone can do simply by changing their role or removing them from the team via team settings. The change takes effect straight away.
