CollectContent Deleting a team removes it, and everything in it, permanently. This is different from removing a member or leaving a team, it affects everyone on the team, not just one person.
Before you delete
- Only the Owner can delete a team. If you're not the Owner, ask them to do it, or have them transfer ownership to you first.
- Export anything you need to keep. Once the team is deleted, there's no way to recover its content.
- Cancel your subscriptions. A team can only be deleted once a subscription has been cancelled and the plan has ended.
Good to know
This action is permanent. There is no trash, archive or recovery window, once a team is deleted, it's gone.
What gets deleted
- All projects and items within them
- All templates and workflow stages
- All comments and activity history
- All team members, who lose access immediately
- Everything else
Deleting a team
- Open Team Settings by clicking your team name in the global bar.
- Within the team menu select the Team option.
- Scroll down to "Delete Team".
- Click the "Delete Team" button.
- Confirm your password to delete the team.
After deletion, every member, including you, loses access to the team's projects and content straight away.
