Some integrations run inside CollectContent as jobs, while others run in external systems.
Before running any integration, it's a good idea to read Understanding Integrations first.
Running integrations within CollectContent
Use these steps for integrations that run as jobs in CollectContent:
- Open the Integrations: Select Integrations in the project navigation.
- Open the integration: Choose the integration you want to run.
- Check your integration settings: Confirm credentials, mapping and destination settings are correct. You will be prompted to update your settings if needed.
- Start the job: Run the import or export job from CollectContent . You will see a new job is listed within your integration.
- Monitor progress: You can click the specific job to view the progress and logs from that integration. Wait for the job to complete and check regulalrly for status updates. If the job fails, you should be able to see the reason within the logs, or contact support if you need assistance.
- Review results: Confirm the imported or exported content is correct.
- Fix and re-run if needed: Update settings or content and run the job again.
You can cancel an integration job that is pending or in-progress by clicking the "Cancel" button .
If an integration job fails, any data changed as part of the import or export will not be reverted.
Good to know
Jobs run in the background, so you can leave this page and come back later to check the job was successful.
Running integrations in external systems
Some integrations are run by external platforms, not inside CollectContent. In these cases, use CollectContent as the content source and run the integration flow from the external system.
Available Integrations
Each platform is different, so the exact steps can vary. For best results, follow the individual documentation for that integration.
