Moving a Piece of Content to a Folder

Once a piece of content exists, you can move it into a folder at any time, on its own, or together with a selection of others.

Drag and drop

Drag a piece of content onto a folder in the sidebar or the content hierarchy to move it in. To move it back out to the project root, drag it onto the project name at the top of the sidebar.

Using the move dialogue

1. Open the Content Hierarchy: Select Content in the project navigation.
2. Right-click a content item to open the options, or on mobile click the menu button .
3. Click "Move" from the menu.
4. In the dialogue, select a new location for the content item.
5. Click the "Save" button to move the content item.

You can also move a content item within the editor by clicking the foldee name on the left of the editor header, or by opening the Settings menu and then selecting "Move".

Moving multiple pieces of content at once

You can hold down your Left-click mouse button to drag a selection, hold Shift and click to select a range, or press Cmd/Ctrl + click to select individual pieces of content. Then drag the selection onto a folder, or right-click and choose Move to move them all together.
