Updating the Due Date of a Piece of Content

Due dates make deadlines visible and traceable across your project, so nothing quietly slips.

Changing the workflow stage from the content hierarchy

  1. Open the Content Hierarchy: Select Content in the project navigation.
  2. Right-click a content item to open the options, or on mobile click the menu button .
  3. Click "Due Date" from the menu.
  4. In the dialogue, select a new due date for the content item.
  5. Click the "Save" button to save the content item.

You can also update a content item due date within the content hierarchy by clicking the due date and selecting a new due date.

Changing the stage from the editor

  1. Open the Content Hierarchy: Select Content in the project navigation.
  2. Click a piece of content to open the editor.
  3. On the content editor, click the settings button at the top of the editor header.
  4. Click "Due Date" from the menu.
  5. In the dialogue, select a new due date for the content item.
  6. Click the "Save" button to save the content item.

You can also update a content item wdue date within the editor by clicking the workflow stage in the middle of the editor header and selecting "Set Due Date".

Approaching and overdue dates

When a due date is overdue, the due date will show in red.

Filter the content list by Due date to quickly see everything due today, this week, or overdue.
