Archiving a content item hides it from your active items without deleting any of its content. It's a good way to keep your workspace tidy while preserving work for future reference.

Archiving from the content hierarchy

  1. Open the Content Hierarchy: Select Content in the project navigation.
  2. Right-click a content item to open the options, or on mobile click the menu button .
  3. Click "Archive" from the menu.
  4. In the dialogue, click the "Archive" button to confirm that you wish to archive the content item.

Archiving from the editor

  2. Click a piece of content to open the editor.
  3. On the content editor, click the settings button at the top of the editor header.
  4. Click "Archive" from the menu.
  5. In the dialogue, click the "Archive" button to confirm that you wish to archive the content item.

What happens to archived content?

Nothing is deleted. The content remains exactly as it was. Archived content is placed into the recycle bin, and the content can only be accessed if restored.
