Creating a Piece of Content

A piece of content is one of the individual items your team produces. For example a blog post, a social media post, a product, whatever your team creates. Every piece of content is based on a template, which defines its fields and structure.

Creating a piece of content

1. Open the Content Hierarchy: Select Content in the project navigation.
2. Click the Create button in the top right.
3. From the dropdown, choose "Create Content".
4. Give your new piece of content a name and select a template.
5. Click the Create button.

You can open your new piece of content and start working on it immediately. Opening the content item opens the editor. For more information, see Understanding the Editor.
